Is this course right for me?

If you are thinking about a career in construction but are unsure about which path to choose, our Basic Construction Multi-Skills course will give you a taste of what working in the industry is like - and you don't need to have any experience, just a willingness to have a go! The qualification offers you the opportunity to gain basic skills in brickwork, carpentry, plumbing and painting, get hands-on with industry-standard tools, and learn how to do a range of tasks such as how to lay bricks, fix a skirting board, hang an internal door, bend copper piping, or prepare and paint a wall. And, because a good standard of English and maths is so important when working in the construction industry, you'll get the chance to improve these skills as part of your course. Also, if you earn less than £30,000 per year and aged 19 or over, you could study this course for FREE!
